Environmental Policy
Environmental responsibility is part of how we operate — not an afterthought. Our commitments summarised; further detail on our Sustainability pages.
Our approach
All UK Copiers treats environmental responsibility as part of how we operate, not an afterthought. This policy summarises our commitments; further detail is on our Sustainability pages.
Our commitments
- Consumables. Information about recycling eligible genuine OEM consumables is available through the Circular Planet programme.
- Waste and recycling. All paper and cardboard packaging from our operations is recycled, and we donate retired client IT equipment to charity recycling organisations to extend its useful life.
- Lower-impact products. We recommend devices with low Typical Electricity Consumption (TEC) values and partner exclusively with manufacturers that hold an ISO 14001 environmental management commitment. (All UK Copiers is not itself ISO 14001 certified.)
- End-of-life equipment. We comply with the UK WEEE Regulations: every end-of-life MFD is decommissioned and its materials recovered through authorised treatment facilities. Customer data on the device is handled as agreed in your quotation, including the wiping method and any data-destruction certificate.
- Our own operations. We run a fully electric engineer fleet, have installed LED lighting across the majority of our premises, and provide information about Toshiba Tec’s funding of responsible plastic-waste collection through its CleanHub partnership.
- Customers. We help customers reduce paper use, monitor energy consumption and choose lower-impact devices.
