Develop FS-540 Staple Finisher – 100 sheet

The FS-540 staples up to 100 sheets in a set, twice what the FS-539 manages, and holds up to 3,200 sheets in its trays. It is also the finisher the larger finishing options attach to: a post inserter for pre-printed covers, a Z-fold unit for A3, and a job separator. It suits a department producing thick sets, or one that needs finishing the smaller unit does not offer.

What it does

• Staples up to 100 sheets in a set. The datasheet also gives that as 98 sheets plus two cover sheets of up to 300 g/m².
• Holds up to 3,200 sheets in its output trays.
• Takes finishing options the 50-sheet finishers do not: the PI-507 post inserter for covers, the ZU-609 Z-fold unit for A3, and the JS-602 job separator.
• Its punch kit is the PK-526, two or four holes switching automatically. The 50-sheet finishers take the PK-524 instead, so the punch kit follows the finisher.
• The relay unit depends on the machine: the RU-513 on the ineo+ 451i, 551i and 651i; the RU-515 on the ineo 850i and 950i; and the RU-519 on the ineo 751i and ineo+ 751i.
• Each machine takes one output option, so this finisher is fitted instead of another finisher or the plain output tray, never alongside one.

Fits ten Develop A3 machines: the mono ineo 451i, ineo 551i, ineo 651i, ineo 751i, ineo 850i and ineo 950i, and the colour ineo+ 451i, ineo+ 551i, ineo+ 651i and ineo+ 751i.
