Develop FS-540SD Staple Finisher – 100 sheet + 80pp Booklet Maker

The FS-540SD is the FS-540 with the same booklet maker the FS-539SD carries: booklets from sets of up to 20 sheets, which Develop also describes as an 80-page booklet. Stapling stays at up to 100 sheets, and the trays hold up to 2,700 sheets — less than the FS-540's 3,200, but more than the smaller booklet finisher manages. It is the option where thick stapled sets and booklets are both wanted from one machine.

What it does

• Staples up to 100 sheets in a set, the same as the FS-540.
• Makes booklets from up to 20 sheets, or 19 sheets plus a cover sheet of up to 300 g/m².
• Holds up to 2,700 sheets in its output trays — between the FS-540's 3,200 and the FS-539SD's 2,200.
• Takes the same larger finishing options as the FS-540: the PI-507 post inserter, the ZU-609 Z-fold unit and the JS-602 job separator, with the PK-526 punch kit.
• The relay unit depends on the machine: the RU-513 on the ineo+ 451i, 551i and 651i; the RU-515 on the ineo 850i and 950i; and the RU-519 on the ineo 751i and ineo+ 751i.
• Each machine takes one output option, so this finisher is fitted instead of another finisher or the plain output tray, never alongside one.
