Practical benefits
The 301i balances A3 colour capability with a consistent office interface. Its paper range and expandable capacity allow a quotation to be shaped around mixed documents rather than one default tray setup.
Scanning and workflow
With a suitable feeder, scan rates are recorded at up to 100 images per minute single-sided or 200 double-sided. The formats listed include encrypted PDF and PDF/A as well as common image and office formats.
Paper and finishing
The recorded range extends from A6 to SRA3, including custom and banner media. Optional paper inputs and finishing should be specified only after compatibility is checked.
Security and administration
AES-256 encryption, IPsec, IEEE 802.1x, secure print, Kerberos and authentication logging are listed. The exact enabled features depend on the final setup.
