Develop FS-539SD Staple Finisher – 50 sheet + 80pp Booklet Maker

The FS-539SD is the FS-539 with a booklet maker added. It staples up to 50 sheets like the plain version, and it also produces booklets from sets of up to 20 sheets — which Develop also describes as an 80-page booklet, the same capacity counted in printed pages rather than sheets of paper. The trade-off is stacking room: its trays hold up to 2,200 sheets where the FS-539 holds 3,200.

What it does

• Staples up to 50 sheets in a set, the same as the FS-539.
• Makes booklets from up to 20 sheets. With a heavier cover the datasheet gives it as 19 sheets plus one cover sheet of up to 300 g/m².
• Holds up to 2,200 sheets in its output trays, against 3,200 for the FS-539. Adding the booklet maker trades stacking room for the folding gear.
• The PK-524 punch kit is the hole-punch option, as it is on the FS-539.
• The relay unit is the RU-513 on the ineo 301i, 361i, 451i, 551i and 651i and the ineo+ 251i, 301i, 361i, 451i, 551i and 651i; the RU-514 on the ineo+ 257i; the RU-515 on the ineo 850i and 950i; and the RU-519 on the ineo 751i and ineo+ 751i.
• Each machine takes one output option, so this finisher is fitted instead of another finisher or the plain output tray, never alongside one.
